Plant Process Design  originated from the Technical Design Partnership which was established in 1980 to provide design support to one of Europe’s largest canning plants.

Initial focus was the support of advanced mechanical designs within the canning industry. With the advent of automation came the addition of the electrical and software disciplines to the company.

Opportunities arose in the mid 1980’s to utilize these skills and disciplines in North America and Canada hence offices were established in both countries. Plant Process Design (UK) Limited was formed in 1990 with a broad expertise base to develop into the food and pharmaceutical/health-care markets. Having gained a high reputation within the market sectors a further office was opened in Perth Australia in 1998.
